Visit by President Aliyev of Azerbaijan to Washington

President Bush Will Meet with President Heydar Aliyev of Azerbaijan at the White House on February 26, 2003. Azerbaijan is a key partner in our efforts to combat terrorism, strengthen global energy security, and foster a just and lasting settlement to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Our countries are also partners in advancing political and economic reforms in Azerbaijan that will strengthen the country.
