President Signs Welfare Reform Act
Statement by the Press Secretary

On Monday, June 30, 2003, the President signed into law:

H.R. 2350, the "Welfare Reform Extension Act of 2003", which extends, through September 30, 2003, the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families block grant program and certain related programs.
