Personnel Announcement
President George W. Bush today announced his intention to appoint
one individual to serve in his administration:
The President intends to appoint Jeffrey F. Kupfer to be Executive
Director of the President's Advisory Panel on Federal Tax Reform. He
currently serves as Deputy Chief of Staff at the Treasury Department.
Mr. Kupfer previously served as Special Assistant for policy in the
White House Chief of Staff's office. Earlier in his career, he served
as a Tax Counsel for the Senate Finance Committee and was a trial
attorney in the Department of Justice's Tax Division. He earned his
bachelor's degree from Yale University and his law degree from Harvard
Law School.
