John Laadt
Senior Advisor for Public Engagement
John is Senior Advisor for Labor Engagement at the White House Office of Public Engagement. John previously served as Advisor for Infrastructure and Climate Engagement in the Office of the Secretary at the Department of Labor, working for both Secretaries Marty Walsh and Julie Su. Prior to joining the administration, he served as Wisconsin Deputy State Director during the 2020 general election, and Massachusetts State Director during the primary for the Biden Campaign. Prior to that, he served in a number of roles at the City of Boston, most recently as Director of Boston 311, and was the campaign manager for then-Mayor Marty Walsh’s successful re-election in 2017. John graduated from the NYU Wagner School of Public Service with a Master of Public Administration in 2021 and has a Bachelor’s Degree from Boston College.
