  • Resigned from position on the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology effective October 7, 2024.
  • Experience in international and domestic policy, including climate change, global scientific cooperation, and advancement of women and girls in STEM.
  • At the Department of State, coordinated climate change policy for the Energy and Climate Partnership of the Americas, oversaw the creation of science diaspora networks to help solve challenges in countries of origin, and led scientific re-engagement with Cuba to address shared challenges.
  • Named a 2020 Latino National Security & Foreign Policy Next Generation Leader.
  • Co-Chair, National Academies Global Science Diplomacy Roundtable.
